Caring for your Hunter products: Elk leather is one of the finest leathers in the world. To keep it in good condition, avoid exposing the product to extreme moisture or dirt, as this can damage the leather. Elk leather is pre-treated with oil, and only needs a small amount of maintenance, ideally using a leather oil. If the leather is wet, do not dry it quickly, e.g. on a radiator – instead, pat it down with a towel and allow it to dry slowly. Ensure that no moisture remains on the metal parts of the product.
